KRISTA RAE KENNEDY is this year’s recipient of the $500 MHSAA Annual Award for Student Leadership. The Selections Committee was very impressed by the accomplishments of all three candidates and wish to extend a hearty congratulations to the school for encouraging and promoting volunteerism – the foundation of community benevolence.

Karen Jones, Mac Grade 8 teacher with a big heart, helped her class to produce The MAC Urban Legend; The Ghost of Macdonald High School and planned to fund the project out of her own pocket. Thanks to your generosity, MHSAA, each student will receive a copy of the book; a special colour edition [...]

You can contribute to the Troop Moral Fund at your local Legion. Each year for the last few years the legion has collected thousands of dollars to buy our troops a coffee (says Mike Angrove). A cuppa java can bridge the gap and let these wonderful citizens, several of whom are our very own Mac [...]
